What's Buzz-worthy: I was out and about at one of the deep, deep discount stores recently and happened upon some of these blind-wrapped vinyl figures on the super cheap -- $2 or less per tin -- and figured they could make for a quick and easy Buzz Break on a quiet today and, so, here we are. There are 10 standard figures and two chase finds here and I landed the one I would have wanted, Chun-Li, from my second tin. Street Fighter II was a classic back in the day on the Super Nintendo -- more than 6.3 million games sold -- with strong, smooth action and, to me, Chun-Li was the perfect combo of speed and smooth, effective fighting. My days of video gaming non-stop are long ago but I knew and recognized all of these characters immediately when I spotted them in the store, making this one an easy grab. Had I not landed the one I wanted and got stuck with a couple of the more-villainous characters I might not have had as good of a reaction here ... but this time I won. A lot of this vinyl genre is out there but perhaps not as easily found at retail now vs. the past, so finding them might take some keyword searches and cost more but stuff that is straggling or was burned off to the discount stores might be easy money-makers for you eBay flippers out there -- opened or closed. The chase figures help add some value on both fronts and that's a reason they're in there. I didn't get one of those but this one was a win for me.
