What's Buzz-worthy: This one has become very cheap -- and that makes it a fun one to rip where, at least so far, I've done better with blasters than hobby for this release. I only say that because of being "McMurray-ed" not only twice in this box but I also pulled the same Spectrum Red tire auto in my previous hobby box here. The standard McMurray card here had some surface damage, too, and ... spoiler alert ... I'm not done pulling McMurray because you'll see one more of these boxes in this month's Buzz 12 in 12 marathon. ... That said, I still like this release quite a bit now that packs are essentially as low $10 a pop across the board in both retail and hobby formats generally speaking. With hobby boxes you get two autos and two memorabilia cards every time -- and retail is basically the same format with a hit in every box. You get on-card autographs pretty much across the board in this release and you get some solid memorabilia variety and big swatches, too. The tire piece on McMurray here is outside prime with a piece of the Goodyear logo, while the Bowyer card has a firesuit swatch and appears to be sheet metal, while the Logano appears to be part of the Pennzoil logo from the neck of his firesuit. The base cards and inserts here weren't as varied in this box but they delivered pretty well with some good names from the past and present. While being "McMurray-ed" again -- and twice -- stings, this one is still one I'll rip into when I can because it's absolutely a reasonable NASCAR rip that delivers.
