What's Buzz-worthy: After a well-delivering but underwhelming blaster break of this one, a hobby box of Heritage High Number could have gone either way on the thumbs-up, thumbs-down scale ... this one gets an up for sure as it was a Hot Box that delivered three times on the Cody Bellinger front and also included a red-ink auto (one in 269 packs; one per case). The collation of the base set was impressive but the base set itself seems lacking -- at least for now -- beyond Cody Bellinger and the new rookie of the moment Matt Olson. The set is loaded with RCs but none of them are "big" names just yet, giving this one some potential for the future. The Hot Box Purple Refractors in every pack reflect that set -- at least half of it -- but thankfully Bellinger was there to save the day. After going in hard on Heritage this year and largely going inkless, this was a good box to rip. But if you're interested in the autos you might just pony up for the ones you want via the singles route -- or dig in as the price on this one drops. (It seems like that could happen -- but you never know with Heritage as it's always a heavily collected brand.) All in all, the inserts and all the other features here make it worth ripping and the autograph lineup is pretty strong just as it was last year.
