What's Buzz-worthy: Topps Update is one of those brands that, in recent years, has been jam-packed with rookies, traded players and All-Star festivities. What made this $9.99 box surprising? Three cards for Aaron Judge and three cards for Cody Bellinger -- and one of those Bellinger cards is a photo variation. Sure, those aren't as tough in this series -- they never are with Update -- but landing the National League's top rookie as an SP is a win. I was surprised to see these seemingly not have as many inserts as the two previous series this year, but with this much rookie power it's still a win. With some luck, you can land printing plates, autographs and Relics here, but this box just simply did not need it to deliver well. I also picked up a blaster box for a break here in the coming days -- we'll see if it compares well to this one.
