What's Buzz-worthy: These have been sneaking back onto retail shelves in some areas (regular price), so I finally decided to bite since demand for Luka Doncic Rookie Cards -- yes, this is from last year -- doesn't have any reason to be slowing down just yet. The only time I ripped into this brand after arrival was a hanger box and it really didn't feel like it delivered. This time it did as hits aren't guaranteed here -- no notation on the box -- but this one included a jersey card. The power in this format might be the rookie presence -- you're guaranteed at least three and probably four rookies per blaster between the RCs and parallels. If you land Doncic, it's a win. He didn't show up today, but LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard and James Harden did -- some a few times ... and that gets an A out of me. It's still not the flashiest release and I really liked the feel of the year before with a very non-traditional format -- a jumbo memorabilia card and a single pack of just a few cards (with parallels). This one reverted to a more traditional format and while it includes the Dazzle cards once again -- a big highlight -- it does have a simple and plain feel ... almost like a Score set with some better aesthetic touches.
