What's Buzz-worthy: The sophomore release of this brand includes a number of new names, plenty of ink and a whole lot of complicated chase with its various patterns and parallels if you want to try and decipher it and then chase them all. (I've included the odds panel in the gallery below for you to examine and get started. You'll also need to examine the checklist here.) This particular box feels like it's one that delivered pretty well with three first-rounder autographs from last year (and actually two of the top six picks) as well as a rookie auto of Hoskins who has been a powerful bat for the Phillies this season. With a strong rookie class and a good volume of prospects here with ink (and a few autos per box) this feels like a good-value product. The patterns are more impressive-looking in-person vs. photos or scans. So as long as you're cool with acetate and then the patterns and textures -- the essence of High Tek -- then this is a good one to rip into. It won't be found at retail, either, so once those hobby boxes dry up that's it.
