What's Buzz-worthy: Shohei Ohtani is the bonus-card enticement here with at least seven different parallels per card in this release, including five serial-numbered shades and even 1/1 versions. While the first one of these we opened here had three hits, this one was far less flashy -- but still included one rarer auto of a guy who was hyped but didn't pan out. Oddly, I've pulled hits or 1/1s in four of the five boxes of these I opened in the down time before Bowman arrived with more Ohtani cards inside. (The boxes do not guarantee any hits, just an Ohtani card.) Look for at least one other break of this one in the next Buzz 12 in 12 marathon -- and maybe the other one during a slow weekday. These are worth considering if you like USA Baseball and Golden Age -- both can deliver hits with relative ease -- and get shut out on the Bowman front on a retail hunt.
