What’s Buzz-worthy: The NFL season begins soon, so here's one more of these solid-value boxes. This one was light on the base card stars, but the rest was a lot more like I've expected out of these hit-based hanger boxes. If you like your cards in smaller chunks but with a hit, it seems like this pack is the way to go with retail. The key? To make sure you get the red hanger box and not the orange hanger box. These with the guaranteed hit are $5 more than the hitless ones, but that's a bit of safety in case you don't land anything big (at least there's a hit to fall back on). The blasters will deliver more rookies (11 in the one you saw here) but only four inserts and a hit -- and the rest is base cards. Depending on what you collect and what you like, both of these formats can deliver differently -- for me it's these red hangers. I probably won't bust as much as last year -- I did a lot and this year's set design feels a little basic for me with a couple of the other early NFL releases feeling more comfortable -- but I like the mix of what you'll find here without breaking the bank. This box's hit? Solid (for now), while appearances from Barkley, Brady, Rice, Kamara and Sanders make it a pretty strong one.
