What's Buzz-worthy: One lesson from these boxes? The rookies are running repetitive between standard and parallel versions so tire's a good chance that you can land big names more than once in these. And at the price ($35) that could be a winner in some instances -- at least in the short-term. (The Red & Yellows are not numbered parallels so I'd expect their prices to fall over time as more are pulled and made available on the secondary market.) I wasn't a big fan of the standard Donruss NFL release this year, but these Optichromed versions look good and one big aesthetic issue on the Rated Rookies in Donruss has been fixed for this release. Generally speaking, these boxes deliver pretty well on the front that matters most these days -- rookies -- and they also deliver consistently. This box didn't wow me (and it might be closer to average) but the variety of parallel inclusions -- all rookies -- carries some good potential.
