What's Buzz-worthy: If these boxes are lingering near you, it might be time to consider them as this box shows you the potential between a good volume of rookies, certain parallels only found here and the big names in a rookie class. They all converged here to a bit to give it a strong A mark in my book. As said in a past break of these, the rookies can run repetitive between standard and parallel versions so tire's a good chance that you can land big names more than once in these. And at the price ($35) that could be a winner in some instances. Red & Yellows are not numbered parallels and they are only found here. This box? It included two notable rookies among those and then two top guys among the standard Rated Rookies. Four cards made this box a winner, especially with me liking to grade some key names. I wasn't a big fan of the standard Donruss NFL release this year, but these Optichromed versions look good. (One big aesthetic issue on the Rated Rookies in Donruss has been fixed for this release --a jagged top border line on the Donruss cards really bugged me. Bad.) Generally speaking, these boxes deliver pretty well on the front that matters most these days -- rookies -- and they also deliver consistently. These boxes will dry up at some point and they could command more then they do. Hobby is the way to go for ink, but the rookie volume here is good with a memorabilia card assured here, too.
