What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz is a bit skeptical of hitless boxes these days -- it seems like they should be a given -- but this one (well at least one card) shows the potential of stacked decks when it comes to certain parallels only in certain pack formats and those packs also including heavy run of Rookie Cards. Spectrum Gold parallels are only found in these hangers -- along with Rookie Force Signatures -- and this box included six Golds (five being insert parallels) and eight RCs. While I can't say the rookies were on my radar at all, the Gold Introductions card of Darnold is a good pull from these $10 packs. The first to hit eBay went for $17.44 shipped and there's only two among the actives. While, sure, some of that is from a strong showing in Week 1, the lack of volume shows that there could be potential here compared to the heavy volume of the standard version out there. The Darnold is a standout card here but there's also some safety in numbers and rarity here that could pay off later if players emerge or some of the Golds prove to be elusive finds for those that want them. Hobby packs are still definitely the safest draw with big potential -- check the link above -- because of their guaranteed hits, this is a format to consider if you want to dabble with a cheap rip with some potential.
