What's Buzz-worthy: This release is a go-to for me and it's one loaded with a ton of Rookie Cards (albeit inserts) and star players but with a price that allows you to dabble on the cheaper side. I did this pair of blasters and nothing really jumped out at me, though it still offered plenty -- so that's why you see them grouped here. Hobby boxes will guarantee you hits every time -- and probably more numbered stuff -- but I like the variety you get in these cheap blaster rips -- and hits are possible ... just not in every box. ... As said before, this one might go down as one of my most under-appreciated releases of last year. This one is easily a contender for the most-improved brand vs. the previous year in that this update-everything release (one that even offers updates brands that didn't previously exist) has been flipped on its head. The base cards are few and the majority of inclusions here are cards from countless brands all in one place. The year before, it was a lot of base cards with the inserts being other sets. You can find plenty of Ronald Acuña Jr., Shohei Ohtani and other rookies in this one -- and that makes it an affordable but worthwhile rip in my mind.
