What's Buzz-worthy: This year's edition of Diamond Kings includes a number of variation types (see our First Buzz preview for galleries) and these boxes deliver a small glimpse of that with a ton of insert sets atop those. This particular box included one variation, one short-print and inserts from 10 different sets that offer a ton of variety making this one a winner. Blasters of this one include Mickey Mantle cards found nowhere else as well as some parallels in a bonus pack here, while the regular packs include standard stuff in every pack. Three packs in a row here delivered Shohei Ohtani cards -- something that you won't find in other brands out there just yet -- and Mantle's presence here is a good touch because there's a legendary lineup of players. You won't get a hit in every box -- this one had one, though the box was made by other inclusions -- but this one feels like an improvement over last year despite some similarities. You'll probably see more of this one here soon.
