What's Buzz-worthy: This year's edition of Diamond Kings includes a number of variation types (see our First Buzz preview for galleries) and these boxes deliver a small glimpse of that with a ton of insert sets atop those. This particular box included one variation, one short-print and inserts from 10 different sets that offer a ton of variety making this one a winner. Blasters of this one include Mickey Mantle cards found nowhere else as well as some parallels in a bonus pack here, while the regular packs include standard stuff in every pack. You won't get a hit in every box and that's the biggest drawback here -- if they were guaranteed, this one would be a no-brainer to rip. Without, it can be risky -- this box shows you an example of that, though many of the names included are strong.
