What's Buzz-worthy: With this year's edition of this brand already here, I opted to pick up a bargain bin box of this one and was reminded why I didn't actually open a blaster of this last year -- no guaranteed hits. That's a bit of a shame as I like the design but also need something that helps soothe the sting of potentially landing a bad box. This box delivered relatively well with one Rookie Card that I would want, the Baker Mayfield, so that gets it an A in my book along with one other card and a pair of Tom Brady appearances. The box also included a numbered parallel of a relatively low volume, which was a plus, while the rest is a pretty standard array for a blaster. The design of this one is quite strong but there are a few touches that might draw your attention away from the card's subject -- mostly the bottom bar's texture that appears on most cards but is missing on some colors. It seems like that was a mistake, and, while I'm good with the texture being there, it can make you think you got a damaged card or could mask slight nicks, too. All in all, I do like this one but it's one where I should have gone with a premium or hobby box.
