What's Buzz-worthy: Just four cards less than a blaster -- and no hit -- and one fewer cards from the insert/short-prints area ... that's the big difference here between this and a blaster. There are fewer RCs and the Xtra Points colors change here, too but ultimately the assortment is the same. There are other parallels and numbered parallels in these for the insets as well as memorabilia cards that parallel some of those sets but no ink. The Green parallels are only found in this format. One thing that can add some value here if you get lucky are 10 short-printed rookies. That was a bummer to me back when these arrived as some of them are still notable -- Deon Cain, Josh Rosen, Calvin Ridley, Marcus Davenport, Sam Darnold, Roquan Smith, Dallas Goedert, Ray-Ray McCloud, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Christian Kirk. I wasn't as big of a fan of this one back when it arrived but the emergence of a few rookies in this one like Lamar Jackson make me wish I would have looked a little more, though the RCs here are college uniforms that won't have as much appeal to a wider group. FYI: Blue parallels are only found in Walmart blasters, while Targets get Red. You can also find Green in hangers and Purple in the jumbo packs. I like the white edges on the card fronts here but the card backs are pretty dark but relatively complete. I still like the feel of this one in a lot of ways and I think other collectors will, too.
