What's Buzz-worthy: These $35 Walmart mega boxes guarantee an autograph though this one was a bit of an aesthetic bummer despite it being a colorful guaranteed parallel. (Sweat is a fourth-rounder with a last-rounder autograph if you can call it that.) That said, some of this former Florida State star's autos are selling relatively well, so there's hope for this "J.S." box. The Greens are exclusive to these boxes -- two basic cards and an auto -- and a big plus for these boxes over the blasters is that you get an RC in every pack so with more packs here you have more shots at some of the big names. This one? We'll see over time, it's not that flashy right now save for the Sony Michel card. The Rice and Luck cards were highlights, too, but it seems like these (like the blasters) are a bit dry on the variety front. If you're big on the brand -- and based on demand for the hobby boxes there are a lot of you -- this is one to rip into at its present price with the guaranteed ink. I'd also take these over blasters with the guaranteed auto as my blaster jersey cards (at least in the ones I pulled) were a little underwhelming. A big set here helps make pulling specific stars a little tougher, so when you land a good name as a base card or parallel that's a little more of a win -- and it might pay off if you get an elite name on a parallel (not big money but maybe moreso compared to the brands I like that deliver a lot more in every box). Prizm is all about the chase of color and autos and you can get in on the action affordably here -- at least while the boxes can be found.
