What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a couple years since this one arrived and while these are simple boxes from a relatively small set they do guarantee a hit every time (most often memorabilia but ink and other things are possible) and some of the widest variety you can find on cardboard. For less than $10 (what it is now -- hit the link), they are worth a look as they are more different than most of the boxes out there. The hobby boxes are loaded with autographs and memorabilia with the base cards and mini parallels in the minority, but these blasters flip things back around more traditionally with the base cards leading the way and a mini in every pack. This retail version feels just like SportKings cards from the recent past, while hobby boxes will include some ink back color parallels and retail is the home of some variation cards for Ty Cobb and Walter Payton (neither here this time). The hobby boxes might have been a little too pricey when they arrived and these boxes might have been a little lean at times for their price, but somewhere in between -- or in some volume of these blasters at their prices now -- is a sweet spot of some interesting stuff and unique cards.
