What's Buzz-worthy: We won't see hobby boxes of this one until October (expect some surprises with that kind of a delay), so here's one last blaster while we wait. This box delivered very well on the insert side, but was brutal for the standard Rookie Card presence. This box included a rarer one-in-31-packs parallel and also an insert not found in every box, the Turn Back The Clock card, which is every other one. The Sandlot inserts are one per box as are the short-printed Combos cards and Rookie History. The coins in this box were both Sandlot stars, a fun plus that won't be found in hobby boxes. The Ohtani is a good pull here as is "The Jet" and the coins -- it still felt like an A box to me with those, despite the trio of rookies (seven less than my first box). The parallels aren't that impressive, but they are tougher pulls here and that should help add a little bit of value to them if you land a good name. Not all boxes have this many inserts -- I wish they did, because I think this is the type of brand that can be insert-heavy without it hurting at all. It's a fun trip to the past with some surprises. If you rip to collect this one is fun and strong -- and if you get lucky you can land some money cards, too.
