What's Buzz-worthy: These hobby boxes deliver a lot more comfortably pretty much on all fronts -- inserts, base stars, Rookie Cards, ink -- so that helps when you don't land the flashiest of boxes. This one might be that scenario but it didn't feel as flat as the Mega Box busted here since this one had plenty of volume on its inclusions as well as appearances from Acuña and Ohtani, though not in the spots that we'd all want (autographs). This one's Purple Refractor is one in 71 packs and the Negative is a one-in-53-pack find. I've not done as much flagship Topps this year but the wave and its parallels do seem to translate a bit better for Chrome. If you can find these on the affordable side, they're worth the rip with an autograph checklist (and other inclusions) that has a number of players who are ones to grab and tuck away, especially if rarer color. It's also a deep checklist of rookies where you could be coming back to these boxes later if players emerge.
