What's Buzz-worthy: This product is back for another run and it remains an interesting one -- an all-acetate, all-autographs release with a selection of award-winners, Salute autos, retired greats, reprint autos and a new run with the 1993 Finest design. There are more inclusions than last year but the basic set is smaller, which might be a plus for those who want to try and do the basic set, which is stacked with rookies. This box delivered a notable newcomer who might be slightly off the radar as he's working to return from injury. The signers list here is strong, making this one relatively easy to try if the price remains reasonable. Adding to the chase are a number of parallels that add color. About the only drawback here is that the color on the cards doesn't really pop that well -- they feel like they could be brighter. The other risk? Yes, there will be cheaper young guys found in these boxes, but there is also a shot at some big names for that same price -- both among the rookies (see the guy on the box) and the Hall of Famers on the checklist. As said last year, this one worth a rip if you're all about ink and don't mind acetate. I generally like these on-card encased auto products, especially if the box prices remain reasonable.
