What's Buzz-worthy: GQ seems to be starting to dry up in some areas, so here's one more. ... This blaster delivered pretty well on the insert front, though it's base cards were a little light on better players. ... The good news is that lot of the hobby finds are also potentially found in these boxes with standard autographs one in every nine boxes or so just like the Monster boxes so there's always a chance. ... Design-wise, this might be the best GQ set, but it needs more variety -- something along the lines of minis -- to add to the packs. The short-prints (Nos. 301-320) are one in 48 packs here, so even that chase isn't something to check each pack for like it is in Heritage -- if you get a dud pack at least you might add an SP to your set. If you like Gypsy Queen's past, you'll like this one -- it's solid but not super-flashy. Tearing into hobby boxes appears to be your best bet for this one now having ripped all three formats. The Shohei Ohtani presence in this one had led me to rip a few more than I had expected, though only the hobby box has delivered for me on that front. Everything else didn't deliver on baseball's biggest rookie so far this season -- hobby is the way to go.
