What's Buzz-worthy: This Walmart find ($34.98) is essentially a jumbo blaster with three more packs and a second parallel pack. Is it worth it? Well, this one over-delivered pretty well with three variations that shouldn't have been found in the box -- and the Team Swap is a rare pull at one in 1,122 packs. That single card saved the box in my mind. The rest was quite bland player-wise, though GQ might be as aesthetically strong as ever. This particular box didn't deliver big on the rookies -- and it had just one more RC than a blaster box you'll see broken here soon -- but this format may be one to consider for the chase of Shohei Ohtani and some other notables. If these boxes all over-deliver like this one did on some rarer cards, that's a plus. It appears a lot of the hobby finds are also potentially found here with standard autographs one in every nine boxes or so but a lot of others possibly inside, too. Design-wise, this might be the best GQ set, but it needs more variety -- something along the lines of minis -- to add to the packs. The short-prints (Nos. 301-320) are one in 20 packs here, so even that chase isn't something to check each pack for like it is in Heritage -- if you get a dud pack at least you might add an SP to your set. If you like Gypsy Queen's past, you'll like this one -- it's solid but not super-flashy inside every box. We'll rip a blaster and some hobby here, soon, too.
Product Grade: A-
Box Grade: A (thanks to the Team Swap card)
Fun Grade: B+
