What's Buzz-worthy: This was the absolute first pack that Buzz ripped for this brand when it arrived not that long ago and it delivered well with a hit of a future Hall of Famer -- a big plus -- but not much else. Without that hit? This might not even be an average box, though it would gain back an SP card without it. As I said in the hanger tray break of this one, this format is probably the least-intriguing way to chase the big cards in Heritage but a sealed tray of this one might be a decent way to build a set and see what else might be in there for the price. If you beat the odds and get a hit, then you can out-do a typical hobby box. Hits and everything else are in here but at long odds, though it may all be mixed where each tray delivers something key (I haven't seen enough ripped yet to know for sure). Autographs aren't guaranteed in every hobby box and they're one in 126 packs here. ... As said before, a big reason I gave this one an A+ was Topps finally labeling the variations on the backs to help simplify the hunt. It's a simple move and it could have been done years ago. You can find many of the fun variations in these -- the odds aren't easy -- but it's a solid way to end a tribute to MLB in 1969 after a very strong start. Hobby boxes are the way to go with this one with their better odds and guaranteed inclusions but this is a product that can deliver. It's got a number of key Rookies Cards and autographs that will be classics for years to come.
