What's Buzz-worthy: This product is stacked with Rookie Cards and strong inserts and this box shows it -- with a key rookie autograph on top. My first pack? A rare flip-stock parallel that's one in 768 packs. Somewhere in the middle was the Miguel Andujar autograph and my last pack included the action variation of a rookie who was a big deal in spring training and got a fat contract. He didn't have the greatest rookie year but other newcomers in this box found more than once like him did -- and this one included all of the big RCs. I've ripped enough of this that it's gotten a bit bland to me but it will be one that holds up well over time as the boxes vanish. Heritage High Number is historically lean on big-name veterans so this one isn't that different than others but the rookie crop this year is one that should deliver well in this one and in other brands for years. I've said it before but I'll say it again -- I'd love to see HHN get the Topps Update treatment with more highlights from events such as the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby to bolster its inclusions in the base set -- subsets! -- even more. Something like that might make Heritage untouchable and it's already one of the stronger sets out there.
