What's Buzz-worthy: This one is back in stock in a few retail formats and in the big sale -- and it gets my pick for one to rip right now. Why? If you're looking at a retro-styled break with some good photos and a 1980s vibe -- particularly 1989 -- on the cheap then this is one to rip. With some luck hits-wise, you'll come out ahead. If not, it's a fun project to build -- and that won't break the bank, either. Blaster boxes include a hit every time with autographed Relics, kiss cards and printing plates among the possible finds here -- I've landed a printing plate more than once -- while the basics are all pretty cohesive. About the only thing not found here was a serial-numbered parallel card of some type (inserts and base have color). These are crisply printed and cleanly cut allowing for the oldschool feel to be found here but in cleaner ways than the original and the release is definitely insert-heavy but it still works with a mix of cards even in this smaller box form. ... Hobby boxes guarantee you an autograph every time and that's one reason those boxes are drying up. The jumbo packs are best ripped in bulk for your best shots at autos and mem but you won't find more than a handful in a case there most times. This is a simple break but a clean one that's perhaps a little more fun than the Heritage releases the couple of years before this one.
