What's Buzz-worthy: Compare this year's box to last year's and you'll see the biggest difference between what's inside the two for its sophomore season. This colorful release is a little darker -- actually a lot darker -- this year, but it's following the same one-hit-per-box format. Before last year, Inception was merely a prospecting brand known for its black base cards with plenty of ink and a colorful rainbow. These cards are once again on thick stock with the spot gloss on the player -- essentially like past years of this one or Five Star in the past -- and you get a lower "in" price since there's just one hit. That makes it riskier as some people will land a guy like Mike Trout and his patch auto, while others will look like this one. Like I said last year, when you win here you win. When you don't, you probably have a box similar to this one. There are once again some strong patches, logo cards and buttons, too. They weren't here, but they're in there. It's not a rip that will result in a lot of fun without a volume rip -- this one is done quickly -- but there's big potential.
