What's Buzz-worthy: This one is a relatively simple release with a meaty 200-card base set, a handful of inserts and, of course, parallels and hits. The base design is definitely different -- one I'm on the fence about because the "stamp" draws my attention away from the player too much -- but it's good to see a different take used vs. some of the standard card frame f0rmats from the past. This box included its two autos and Relic with the Blue auto a little bit tougher pull at one in 111 packs. The 1988 Throwback inclusions are interesting but perhaps better-remembered by other collectors as I wasn't a big fan of that one the first time around. Perhaps if they were printed on true Heritage-style stock I'd like them more. For the dedicated MLS buyer, this one is right there along with recent releases -- this box delivered parallels just the same as last year -- and some of the rarer pulls should be of keen interest here, too.
