What's Buzz-worthy: Opening Day has a big draw this year -- the first Rookie Card of Japanese star Shohei Ohtani -- and then a number of the cool quirks that help draw fans in, both young and old. Want mascot cards, autos and Relics? They're in there. Cards of unique oddities like the Home Run Apple in New York and The Freeze down in Atlanta? They're in here. The printing quality, photo selection and even the stock here feel slightly better than Series 1 at times with some strong photos we'll see in Series 2 also teased here. This box was closer to an average one but it still included a number of big names on the base cards and more than the one insert per pack that was advertised. The Mascot Auto Relics have odds of one in 93,600 packs, so if you see one on eBay you might consider just grabbing one there vs. ripping to pull. Ironically, the player autos ate the easiest ink to land here, while there are some hobby-like inclusions such as printing plates, base card variations and other autos and Relics that are new this year. For the price and the fun factor, this one is tough to beat.
