What's Buzz-worthy: If you look at the base cards and the Rookie Cards in this particular box, you might know why I didn't rip into a lot of this one when it arrived around this time last year. But there is one short-printed inclusion -- at least one allegedly in retail (it is in hobby for sure) -- that reminded me to bite when I found this one in a clearance bin. It's the short-printed Ronald Acuña Jr. Rookie Card. That wasn't here but this box wax very good statistically on the insert front with a Blue parallel (1:391), a Future Stars Blue (1:12) and Black (1:24) that technically shouldn't have been in there for a blaster and a photo variation (1:30). None of them are huge cards but together that's still a decent box. I could have used a Shohei Ohtani RC but it's a pretty big set so he won't be in there every time in this series. This was a standard blaster -- Walmart boxes have extra Aaron Judge cards and Target boxes have extra Cody Bellinger cards. Parallels of the inserts here can be very subtle in their differences while others are a lot more rarer than they should be but aren't numbered. Those things can make for a decent break here or there and they're worth a look ... along with a rip for that Acuña guy.
