What's Buzz-worthy: A photo variation and a Shohei Ohtani Rookie Card get this box a strong grade and that's backed by a number of strong names on inserts with a number of subtle parallels that can easily be missed if you're ripping quickly. Walmart boxes offer Aaron Judge Highlights, while Target boxes have Cody Bellinger. These offer a nice extra that helps mix up the variety in the box. Not a fan of the Legends in The Making inserts but I like the Future Stars cards to balance that out. The foilboard Villanueva RC parallel is also a nice pull, though maybe not that expensive, as he's having a good year power-wise for the Padres. The retail-exclusives really helped as this one's manufactured Relic of Myers isn't one of the flashier ones in the set -- and it's a pretty big set. The stars on the base cards weren't that deep in this particular box but the overall feel of this one wasn't that bad. I'm looking forward to cracking a hobby box to see what surprises it might include.
