What's Buzz-worthy: Buzz skipped seeing Solo in the theater -- my Star Wars fatigue was launched with Rogue One awhile back to tell you the truth -- but seeing Star Wars cardboard is a good way to fill the gap between now and DVD time. There are no big spoilers here as the card backs are essentially blank like oldschool stickers with just name/title lines like on the card fronts. This one delivers pretty well like recent card sets for this franchise with an autograph or sketch card guaranteed in every box and this one was one of the sketch boxes. (Listed odds are one in 225 packs there.) It's not the flashiest sketch but it is one that shows a key character in this one -- The Millennium Falcon. The autograph lineup here is lacking the biggest names from this film -- landing any of them would have been big as most have not signed before (Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Paul Bettany, Thandie Newton) but that didn't happen -- and that's probably the biggest mystery. (There are probably some interesting stories there for the future.) Autographs are important in today's collecting world but the rest of this one is right on par with other releases. You'll feel the autograph issue if you rip this one in bulk but for a box or two this is still a fun and colorful rip for the franchise.
