What's Buzz-worthy: This is a set that's jam-packed with stars from the All-Star Game, the MLB Home Run Derby and with Rookie Cards. This box led things off with a Juan Soto card in the first pack and upped the ante with a Blue parallel of his 1983 insert card -- something that may not thrill you until you check out the odds and see that it's a card found one in every 221 packs. There were other Blue parallels here but those are one in every other box at worst. This box got a solid A though it can be easily topped as there are a lot of newcomers found in this set that weren't found here. These blasters pack a perfect blend of variety in the inserts (though some parallels may not be spotted easily as earlier this year) and pack a ton of stars -- so much so, I'm expecting that the hobby box I bust here soon might not feel as jam-packed. The base set is 300 cards so there will be a number of common players, too, but this might be the only cardboard for some of those guys this season. This set is so loaded it will probably be one many of us wish we ripped more of in the future as basic Topps and Topps Heritage Rookie Cards seem to be latching on with more and more collectors these days compared to the recent past.
