What's Buzz-worthy: This is a set that's jam-packed with stars from the All-Star Game, the MLB Home Run Derby and with Rookie Cards. The base set is 300 cards so there will be a number of common players to go with all of those rookies and All-Stars, but this might be the only cardboard for some of those guys this season so they could end up being highlights, too, in some spots. This set is so loaded it will probably be one many of us wish we ripped more of in the future as basic Topps and Topps Heritage Rookie Cards seem to be latching on with more and more collectors these days compared to the recent past. It seems that these hobby boxes deliver a little more variety compared to recent years' flagship/update releases so there's good reason to dig in on this one at its present (dipped) price. The grading game could definitely come in big as part of this one with all of those RCs and their parallels found here -- both in the short-term and down the road.
