What's Buzz-worthy: This is a pack from a Blowout MegaMix and with the big Juan Soto trade I figured today's the day to chase his Rookie Card in this one ... didn't happen. Soto, Ronald Acuña Jr. and Shohei Ohtani are three of the possible bigs here and they can be found on more than just base cards, too. That's one reason why even a retail display box where this one came from is pushing $700 with hobby boxes and other formats at even higher prices. Why? The rare parallels of key RCs are possibly in there and could pay for far more than a box. In this case, I landed a good card of a legend and Hall of Famer -- that Black parallel of a Ruth insert is one in 24 packs -- so that is a good find for a single pack. Without that? A Freddie Freeman insert wouldn't have cut it. (Overall, at a premium price, this is nothing special but odds-wise a Ruth is a win for one pack.) I hadn't opened any of this in a long time and I did a lot back then ... but I should have done more.

Fun Grade: C+ (not a fan of one loose pack ... but you never know it might deliver)
