What's Buzz-worthy: Doing some spring cleaning here and, well, this trio of packs was, at best, average, though there are a lot of reasons that these packs and hangers should be opened ... but in more bulk for your best shots at the good stuff. Back then for WWE retail, the blasters were pretty barren for hits -- they were only found in a hit pack separated from the rest with a small number of cards even having autos. But these packs and hangers? They have everything -- even stuff like Kiss Cards and printing plates are possible -- but your odds aren't a complete given unless buying by the case (a few hits and several numbered cards per about around 100 packs in a case) or a larger lot than just three packs like this. For the cost and guaranteed stuff, back then I went with solely blasters. Now that those are ripped and gone? Hangers are probably the better bet but these also can have finds, too. The set has a lot of highlights -- that's one reason it's not the strongest set now, especially with that era of WWE action being a lot of copy-paste highlights with cards here looking the same way too often -- and it's almost all for men's action on the main roster. The NXT and Women's Division sets handled those highlights but since I was only doing blasters for the hit and inserts here I never sweated it at its original price. These days? A lot of better options ... but not always cheaper ones. There will come a day where even the hangers and these jumbo packs will be gone, too, so they might not make for a bad for-fun dabbling rip as there are still some big cards possible -- and it would only take one solid card to pay for a good chunk if not all of a lot at the prices today. Not this time -- this lot was too small -- but if it had delivered would have been strong dollars-wise. The autograph lineup here -- on a strong but simple design -- includes Bray Wyatt, Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Undertaker, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Bayley, Becky Lynch, Jeff Hardy, Charlotte Flair, Kurt Angle, Sasha Banks, Seth Rollins and many more. Oh, and one of the quirkiest WWE cards ever made -- one that's immensely rare -- is a Goldust Kiss Card (at right). That one has had me ponder a hanger box lot more than a few times, though I'm sure the odds are low and a good chunk of that low number probably went into hobby boxes. But ... you never know.

Product Grade: A (that's my original grade ... this has aged to about a C for me today)
