What's Buzz-worthy: This second blaster of this one for me delivered the thrill of victory with a Zion Williamson insert and the agony of defeat when I noticed that its centering is quite bad. It happens ... even to the No. 1 draft pick. The base mix here was heavy on veterans in new places or in new uniforms (hence the studio shots) and my inserts/parallels had some solid names but not a whole lot of flashy beyond the Purple Kawhi Leonard -- hey, hey, hey! -- and the Williamson. This was my first look at the Splash! inserts, which I think have a fun design that could look pretty solid with parallels, but otherwise this one seemed like a standard box beyond a couple names. As said last time, there are a few possibilities here, including Holo, Purple and Checkerboard parallels and then Blue and Checkerboard autos as well as Lime Green and Gold parallels for some inserts and they are numbered. That wasn't much of a possibility in the mega boxes -- click here to see my previous break. As said in that one, like Prizm, I think this one is a solid release this year and I actually like it better on the Rookie Card front in both how it delivers and how they look cleaner. Some of the photos are a little funky -- Zion among them. Simplicity goes a long way with this one's inclusions and hobby boxes deliver that and a ton more -- hit that link up top for a shot at those blazing-hot boxes. All formats should deliver pretty well on the basics though blasters are perhaps the leanest locale. I'd expect Optic to be plentiful (like Prizm) but not as available as people clear shelves and stockpile unopened boxes to sell.
