What's Buzz-worthy: Struck out hunting Prizm and can't wait for a pick-and-click delivery from here to rip more? Then you might want to hit a retail chain that's seemingly everywhere but not heavily known for a cardboard presence ... but one that has some exclusives that can be money-makers for you if you have some luck. These $1 five-card packs only sold at Dollar Tree stores include one Yellow parallel card per pack. That means you have a one in 300 shot at a Yellow standard Zion Williamson Rookie Card -- it's pushed $100 among eBay completed auctions and his Tribute subset has pushed $70 among completed sales. Meanwhile, asking prices for the few active auctions for those cards are higher. I went 0-for-everything here on the Zion front -- not even the regular one can be mine from a pack -- and my streak of 2019-20 NBA packs ripped (all brands) is now at 108 without seeing a single card for the biggest newcomer in the hobby today. (But enough about me.) I'd think that these will likely be the rarest parallels of the year for standard Hoops and could be huge longer-term sleepers for Rookie Card parallels like Williamson and top stars. This one wasn't the greatest break -- Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ben Simmons are probably my best parallels here -- but for $18 there could have been some pretty solid returns had I pulled some names on a hot streak.
