What's Buzz-worthy: These are still trickling out fresh to retail (at least as long as they last there) and this latest find for me was one that wasn't as flashy as some of my past boxes but did deliver one of the top rookies -- the Rookie of the Year on the court -- but with a surface cut. That's the third time an Optichrome card of Zion Williamson or Ja Morant has arrived from a pack like that for me this year ... bummer. This one did have a seriously botched card -- one that actually amused me here because it's so badly cut -- check out that Shaq card. Despite these things, this was still an A- box ... thanks to that Morant. (The inserts helped with some notable veterans, too, though none are big like the Morant, which pays for the box at SRP.) ... As said last time, Hoops has gone Premium Stock -- aka Optichrome -- for this one and it's a format that could mean some strong boxes here or some lean ones as the overall set is 300 cards but you get only four cards per pack. I like the look and feel of these more than I thought I would and this is obviously one big end-of-season retail force and a premium-seller in other formats.
