What's Buzz-worthy: The shelf-clearers left one for the kids -- well, I'm the kid this time -- and this box wasn't much of a dominator but it did have some parallel highlights and one better RC, though that one has a meaty surface line on the back rendering it moot. Maybe some of my finds are rarer pulls in the big picture (a Silver Class insert) but the overall volume out there didn't translate into it being a pricier card. The Leonard Silver is also, in theory, a better find but he's not one of the bigs for flippers. I do like the Purple Disco cards here but my lineup there was bad and for the price I'd probably just do blasters here. ... As said last time, Hoops has gone Premium Stock -- aka Optichrome -- for this one and it's a format that could mean some strong boxes here or some lean ones as the overall set is 300 cards. I like the look and feel of these more than I thought I would and this is obviously one big end-of-season retail force and a premium-seller in other formats. Hit that link up top for a look at a few options. There's big stuff possible here but I think you have to rip in some volume. Or, buy the bigger boxes for this brand. The safety is in volume that helps you land more shots at bigger names.
