What's Buzz-worthy: I may have had a slam dunk of a first blaster box but I can say that a mega box with an autograph wasn't shabby, either here despite the lack of those biggest rookies on their standard RCs. What made this more of an interesting break? The volume -- double the number of cards per pack and 10 packs per box here. That's the same as two and a half blasters, which is why these boxes are a little pricier out there in the retail world (if you can find them) and why these boxes are taking off on the secondary market. (Buzz being Buzz ... I left some for the kids, feeling a little skeptical of this brand when I found them this morning. Why not clear it? The $50ish price and not knowing how often ink might flow here -- it doesn't appear to be one per box.) ... As I said earlier, the basic design here is super simple -- almost oldschool Pacific in its feel -- but with a Prizm approach. The basic set is 200 cards and then the 100 topping that are from a number of subsets that arrive relatively often together but I'll note them as SPs here. ... This format includes Pink Fluorescent Mosaic Prizms (/10) -- I landed an Orange (/25) in my blaster -- and they include a good volume of the Reactive Blue cards (one per pack) but they seem more like red cards to me. (Just saying.) You can see the full lineup of inclusions for this format in the gallery. All in all, this box felt pretty solid -- a volume rip with plenty of RCs, inserts and some key names -- and it was one that made me want to rip another.
