What's Buzz-worthy: Hobby boxes are a big winner for this one with guaranteed hits and plenty of variety for (right now) less than the price of four blasters. These blasters are the home of a ton of variations (one per pack) and a bonus pack that includes a mix of Purple parallels and Rapture parallel inserts. No hits are guaranteed in blasters, but it appears they are possible, so you're main focus in every box would be on the inserts, while the variations and the Rated Rookies, Diamond Kings and Retro cards are essentially base in their feel. The basic design has a good feel to it, but it's not my taste. The non-bonus pack parallels do look to have interesting potential but there was only one here. All in all, this was a box that delivered big on names but still didn't feel that flashy other than a couple of cards. You get good variety here but I think this is one I would have liked more -- at least first-impressions wise -- had I ripped into a hobby box.
