What's Buzz-worthy: The newest edition in this line arrived just last month, so I decided to check things out as it's a brand that delivered pretty well for me in a past break of a previous edition. What is it? Five autographed and top-loaded photos per box -- and that's it. That past break included an A-list WWE Hall of Famer in Mankind as well as a dual-signed photo, but this one included a dual and three overall members of the Hall, albeit not the biggest names. The first photo I saw opening here was one of those Hall of Famers, Koko B. Ware, a guy who was perhaps at his most memorable in the late 1980s and had a trio of WrestleMania matches with his first being at the landmark WrestleMania III event. The second auto I saw when ripping into this one is ink from former TNA star and current Ring of Honor competitor Velvet Sky. Not an expensive sig, but one that ensured a women's wrestling presence in the box -- important because that can add good value in some cases. The third auto I found was a name I'm admittedly not familiar with, Yujiro Takahashi, since he's a star from Japan where he was a member of The Bullet Club as well as The Elite before most of those factions' members left Japan for AEW. Could he show up with them at some point? Asking prices for his photos over on eBay show he might pay for about half of the box -- perhaps making it the best one here. Up next? An auto for MVP who had a pretty solid WWE run and has since worked around the world away from that company. His story of what got him into wrestling is an interesting one, too. The final photo in this box was a dual-signed image from a Hall of Fame tag team and guys who, like Ware, were big in the late-1980s wrestling push into the mainstream. Not tough or pricey autos (or the greatest image for them) but a solid pairing on a piece for less than the price of a blaster box. So, why rip into these boxes? As I said in the previous break, this brand is a simple but effective one at a relatively low price that gives you a shot at names from all of wrestling history, not just the WWE, with a chance at some big names, too, without paying bigger prices. (You're paying $15 apiece or less here most times.) You can give a beginner a batch of new signed photos all in one place for a price that's on par with a typical low-end box of cards or pad your collection with some potential upside and some surprise inclusions if you're a veteran collector. All subjects are noted on the back with a statement of authenticity sticker, too, in case you aren't immediately familiar with the signer. ... Generally speaking, this one really comes down to quality images and decent names. If you get a great-looking photo, it's a plus. If you get a good name, it's even better. There are high-end autos to be found such as multi-signed pics as well -- Ric Flair, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Kenny Omega, Steve Austin, Chyna, Sting, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage and plenty more are all in play here.
