What's Buzz-worthy: This brand was one of my favorites last year with its heavy rookie feel but more importantly it being a collection with multiple brands. The base set here is the standard Chronicles set -- that one I'm not a fan -- but the rest is very solid here with a number of different stocks, styles and smaller checklists jammed with name players and rookies. Blasters don't guarantee any hits -- just a three-card pack of Unparalleled cards only found here. That's a 30-card set and there are apparently parallels so it will take you a few boxes to chase all of those down. I only picked up one of these (for now) since there were a few new releases and some other hunting to do this week but this is a brand I will rip into more ... as long as they last. The variety here is a star for sure and this box delivered some good names but not any that truly satisfied me to get an A. There should be some easy-A boxes in this one, though. There is a ton of stuff possible here and I'll talk about all that more when I rip into more of these packs. One thing I'd like to see here? Rookie Card Hot Packs where you get a number of different cards for one guy all in one place -- that would put the power of his one on concentrated display all in one pack -- and make for some really, really strong boxes when you land a top name. There are enough different brands within this one where even a five-card pack like that would still leave plenty of chase for that player after finding a Hot Pack.
