What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a while since I ripped into this one, and I didn't do much that year beyond some FOTL, but this one shows how you can land a bunch of stars (see that run of base) and then variety among the inserts. The base set here might be among the best of the Panini DK years and that's with both the basic design framing as well as photo selections but my inserts this time were not the greatest run of players. My Ruth card is one of only a few in that set and it's the only one to not show him ... so it's pocket change. My Joe Jackson card is a checklist but at least it's got some visuals to it with the legend shown. ... The blasters do include hits -- and some years have included legendary names on mem cards, too -- but hobby boxes are your safest route here and are a lot cheaper than many brands right now. Check out this past FOTL break for a bigger look at what's possible there -- that option is in stock at the link up top and should be one of the best ways to chase the big stuff here on the hits front.
