What's Buzz-worthy: It's been a few years since I last ripped into this Panini America creation for the Mexico market, and since then a few more names here popped onto my personal radar by arriving elsewhere in the time since then. (I admittedly can't watch it all so a lot of names here are ones I don't know that well ... but I like wrestling cards.) ... What is this? It's a trading card set for the long-running Mexico City-based promotion that was made by Panini to go with its years of sticker releases that are always popular internationally -- perhaps moreso than cards. Why rip? Well, autographs and memorabilia cards aren't a thing here but there are some earlier cards for stars you will see in American promotions right now -- WWE and AEW for example -- and then some you have perhaps seen in the past or in other shows such as Lucha Underground. ... The only chase here is really parallels, though the two insert sets (40 cards and 20 cards) will mean a couple boxes to complete 'em all if collation is relatively clean/consistent on inserts. The top of the box details the typical seeding of the color for this release and that means its one in 110 boxes to land any one Gold parallel for any particular card as long as there's no added scarcity for inserts. (I bet there isn't but have not seen enough opened to know 100 percent.) That also means one in 19 boxes for any one card on the easy side ... really not that easy unless you rip a bunch. There are some names to know here and there are some early -- if not first -- cards to be found in packs with this one. I'll be ripping more ... just for fun.
