What's Buzz-worthy: It's Friday so I'll keep this recap tight -- this box shows the strong possibilities of what might be on tap when you rip into a Ginter box. The auto here is of an Australian Rules Football player. The Black Minis are of two top names and my inserts are a good mix of baseball stars and unusual inserts -- stuff that Ginter has been known for not only in its 2006-to-today Topps revival but also back in the 1880s when Ginter was around the first time. ... I like the feel of Ginter this year and the design is in the realm of the brand but uses background imagery that's different -- and may make you think some cards are not centered when they are. (At the same time, this box had its share of miscuts and I have heard about others.) The minis this time seem to have some good variety and subjects and they are a true highlight in this release every year. The only drawbacks in this box? A few duplicated inserts -- that's not the norm. You'll see more Ginter from me this summer.
