What's Buzz-worthy: At first glance this may not look like that good of a box, but Buzz's Walmart excursion paid off with a parallel autograph (one in 416 packs) and a photo variation (one in 247) atop the standard stuff here. Making this decent, too, is the presence of one of the four late-add Rookie Cards (Nos. 201-204) in Eloy Jimenez. FYI: These cards do appear to be shorter in size than others in this release. The design, something I've mentioned previously this year, isn't one of my favorites (mostly because of the flipped name) but there are touches here that seem to be made for Chrome, especially when you land a colored Refractor. My names in the base cards weren't all that flashy and my X-fractors only found in this box could have been better but it delivered very well for the price. I'll admit I don't do a ton of Topps Chrome but this seems like a safe way to chase stuff with autos starting one in 99 packs (one in 10 boxes) if you don't want to do a whole Hobby box. With this year's rookie crop and guaranteed ink over there, though, it is a stronger way to go. These won't always deliver big like this one did but there is better potential here compared to some of the mega boxes released this year.
