What's Buzz-worthy: The more I dabble with this one, the more I like it -- and it might be plentiful here and there out in the retail wild compared to other brands from even this year. This time I landed a parallel auto -- one in 58 boxes -- of a guy who won't leave me alone from last year's wax ... I've pulled his auto many times. The RCs here included a couple of key names in my mind and the veterans and inserts had a couple of names I don't mind. SPs here are one per blaster and the volume of RCs you get here is strong -- both key for this format and you also get a pack of Artist Proof cards only found here. This Walmart-exclusive premium brand has plenty of star power from the past and present and there's a pretty good chunk of inserts, too. ... I wasn't big on last year's artwork based on teasers but was pleasantly surprised once I ripped into a box. This one? It's got good design and gloss/foil touches -- the frames -- but not as many of the art pieces jumped out at me from these players. My favorites? The Hall of Fame Gallery paintings and the Heritage inserts, which use the 1965 Topps design -- a favorite of mine from the past. This box wasn't bad at all -- and yet I think it can easily be topped.
