What's Buzz-worthy: Blasters of this one have started to vanish in my area so stragglers always get some attention when I see them as they offer some key Rookie Cards that may be cheaper now but won't be later once all of the wax is long gone. Why do I say that? Heritage is easily among the favorite releases for a ton of MLB collectors so there should always be interest though we might be entering the roughest decade for the throwbacks here with the 1970s -- I say that meaning there are some hits and there could be some misses to come visually vs. past years so far. Blasters give you a small volume of stuff so they can be hit and miss but this one was relatively solid on the RC front as well as the inserts -- enough to barely get the box an A ... though it's one that can be topped. As I've said before, this brand is a strong one that's stacked and loaded with potential if you rip hobby boxes and the set size here lends itself to being able to stockpile RCs more easily -- a plus. This is a second straight year I've given Heritage High an A+ as a product and it's all about the RCs and the big ink that's possible. Nearly all of the hobby inclusions are also found here -- just at higher odds -- so there's plenty of reasons to rip into these boxes if you find them. One interesting thing to watch in these Walmart boxes? The Cloth cards -- they are seriously condition sensitive and you can't even penny sleeve them without damage. (Use the extra-wide sleeves if you dare -- but even that is dangerous. They can be easily found mangled direct from packaging.) Now is the time to be ripping into boxes like these and stockpiling the key RCs since they can be cheap -- not in March when they are playing well in spring and plenty of other people are looking.
